Man V. Nature; A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

This is a collection of pictures to illustrate the theme "Man Versus Nature". This would be a great warm-up strategy for students to begin to understand one literary genre conflict; Man Versus Nature. Students could look at the pictures and write about their reaction/interpretation.













*This one terrifies me! Sharks are my biggest fear!

    Those first couple photos are gorgeous. I'm with you on sharks; I don't do the ocean. Nope.

    I love this! My favorite picture was the nature versus technology...or industry (the one with the girl and guy couple). These pictures really got me thinking about our presence and contributions to out planet. I believe that "Take care of where you live" is the overall theme :).

    Wow! These pictures are so unique. They are cool, but eerie at the same time. The one with the shark wasn't that bad for me. Maybe I was more focused on the beautiful water than the imminent danger for that poor person on the canoe. lol

    Wow! All of these pictures have so much detail and meaning behind them. One thing that I really like them is it seems that they more that you look at them the more you can find and the more you can get out of it! Thanks for sharing!
